| Objectives: To provide references for the rational application of perforator flap by summarizing the clinical application experience of this flap at supraclavicular transverse cervical artery. Methods: The case data of 43 patients adopted the perforate flap at the supraclavicular transverse cervical artery to restore the neck scar deformity were summarized retrospectively. The anatomic variation of perforator vessels, operational method, flap design, operation results and complications were analyzed. Results: The perforator vessels of supraclavicular transverse cervical artery in four patients developed anatomic variation, stretching out from the infraclavicula. The expanded and non-expanded flaps harvested from the perforating branch had reliable blood circulation without the occurrence of ischemic necrosis. Satisfying results have been realized by the flaps in the restoration of jaw-neck scar. Conclusion: Application of perforator flap at the supraclavicular transverse cervical artery is a good way to restore the neck scar contracture and is worth of popularization and application. |
