| Objective: To observe and summarize the clinical therapeutic effect of MEBO Wound & Ulcer Dressing in treating pediatric injury of incompletely severed distal finger. Methods: Nineteen pediatric patients with injuries of incompletely severed distal fingers (20 fingers) were dressed with MEBO Wound & Ulcer Dressing for treatment after topical debridement and direct stitching of the injured sites. The therapeutic effect was observed. Results: Among the 20 injured fingers, 19 fingers realized the complete survival of severed tissues while the left one developed distal tissue necrosis. After removal of the necrotic tissue, the necrotized finger was treated with MEBO Ointment instead and 28 days later it realized regenerative healing. Conclusion: MEBO Wound & Ulcer Dressing should be promoted to be applied in the treatment of pediatric incompletely severed injury of distal finger since it is user-friendly and outcome-satisfying. |
