Objective: To investigate the clinical efficacy of Recombinant Human Granulocyte-macrophage Colony Stimulating Factor (rhGM-CSF) Gel in the wound treatment and care of II-III degree pressure ulcer. Methods: 85 patients (98 wounds) with II-III degree pressure ulcer were divided into a treatment group and a control group. The treatment group was treated with rhGM-CFS Gel and the control group was treated with SD-Ag Cream. The therapeutic effect, wound bacterial culture result and PUSH scoring were observed and compared between the two groups. Results: In the treatment group, the average healing time was 16.75 d±1.22 d and the effective rate was 96.49%. while they were 21.73 d±4.55 d and 78.05% respectively in the control group. After 14d dressing change, the PUSH scoring was 5.76±2.59 (in the treatment group) and 8.59±3.23 (in the control group) respectively. Comparison of the indicators between the two groups showed statistically significant differences (P<0.01). Conclusion: RhGM-CSF Gel can inhibit bacteria reproduction, promote granulation tissue formation and shorten wound healing time significantly in the treatment of II-III degree pressure ulcer.
