【Abstract】 Objective: To observe the clinical effect of the in situ regenerative medical technology in the treatment of infectious wounds. Methods: Forty patients with infectious wounds admitted into The First Affiliated Hospital of Hunan Traditional Chinese Medical College between February, 2012 and February, 2014 were randomly divided into two groups: a control group and a treatment group. Patients in the control group were treated with traditional therapy while those in the treatment group were treated with the in situ regenerative medical technology. The wound healing time, healing effect and pain condition during the dressing change were observed in both groups. Results: The comparison between the two groups in terms of the wound healing time showed statistically significant difference: treatment group (11.9±4.8)d, control group( 16.8±6.3)d, (P<0.01); Pain scores: treatment group (2.32±0.62), control group (5.78±0.89), there was a statistically significant difference between two groups (P<0.01); In terms of wound healing effect, the treatment group saw scarless wound healing of 18 patients and only 2 patients had non-hypertrophic scar formation while in the control group, 8 patients got healed with hypertrophic scar and 10 healed with non-hypertrophic scar, and thus the wound healing effect in the treatment group was obviously better than that in the control group. Conclusion: The in situ regenerative medical technology in the treatment of infectious wounds can not only effectively control infection but also alleviate pain and facilitate wound healing, deserving to be promoted in clinic. |
