【Abstract】Objective To analyze methods for diagnosis and treatment of perianal hidradenitis suppurativa Methods The diagnostic and treatment process of 13 patients with Perianal Hidradenitis Suppurativa admitted to Colon & Rectal Surgery Department of Shenyang Anorectal Hospital between January 2010 and July 2015 were reviewed. The diagnosis and treatment methods were explored with reference to some literatures. Results Among these 13 patients, 6 were diagnosed by ultrasonic testing and 7 were diagnosed by MRI inspection. Focuses in all these 13 patients were removed with operation and two patients underwent two-step surgery to remove their large focuses. After operation, one patient got incision infection, which was healed by debridement and drainage treatment and none of the rest got infection. No relapse was observed during a 6-24 month follow up of the 11 patients. Conclusion An accurate diagnosis of Perianal Hidradenitis Suppurativa can be made with ultrasonic and MRI diagnosis based on patients’ symptoms. It is an effective treatment for perianal hidradenitis suppurativa to cut open thoroughly the sinus tract and remove extensively the sweat gland around focus. It is worthy of being promoted in clinical practice in that it can prevent wound infection, promote wound healing and avoid relapse.
