【Abstract】 Objective To investigate the clinical efficacy of MEBO combined with Danhong injection in the treat? ment of diabetic foot. Methods A total of 50 diabetic foot patients, admitted to the Department of Burn and Plastic Surgery, Huangshi No 5 Hospital from January 2013 to September 2017 were divided, according to the random number table, into a treatment group (25 cases) and a control group (25 cases). While receiving the systemic comprehensive treatment such as blood sugar and blood pressure regulation, and anti - infection, the patients in the treatment group were treated with MEBO combined with Danhong injection, and in contrast the patients in the control group was treated with Vaseline gauze. The im? provement of intermittent claudication and pain relief, and the clinical efficacy on day 30 of treatment and wound healing time were observed and compared between the two groups. Results On day 30 of treatment, in the treatment group the in? termittent claudication score was (18 12 ± 2 51) points and the pain score was (2 82 ± 1 42) points whereas in the controlgroup the intermittent claudication score was (10 25 ± 2 48) points and the pain score was (4 15 ± 1 46) points. The in? termittent claudication score and pain score were respectively compared between the two groups and the results showed statis? tically significant differences ( both P < 0 05). On day 30 of treatment, the treatment effective rate was 92 0% in the treat? ment group and 60 0% in the control group, between which the comparison showed statistically significant difference ( P < 0 05). At the end, the wounds of all patients were healed completely. The wound healing time in the treatment group was(28 08 ± 5 86) d, which showed a statistically significant difference as compared with (38 31 ± 4 69) d in the controlgroup ( P < 0 05). Conclusion MEBO combined with Danhong injection can effectively promote the healing of diabetic foot wounds, shorten the wound healing time, improve intermittent claudication and relieve pain, presenting remarkable clinical efficacy and high clinical application value |
