【Abstract】 Skin regenerative medical technology (MEBT/ MEBO) has been applied in the treatment of diabetic wounds in clinical practice for many years, with good clinical efficacy. Since diabetic wounds, especially diabetic foot ulcers, are characterized by diverse symptoms, complex pathogenesis, and prolonged healing process, an application protocol that’s not only systematic and standardized, but also concerns individual patient’s condition, should be made for the application of MEBT/ MEBO in clinical practice, upon the consensus of experts. With this in mind, our project team developed Application Protocol of Skin Regenerative Medical Technology in the Diagnosis and Treatment of Diabetic Wounds of Different Stages and Grades based on literature review and years of clinical experience. By combining MEBT/ MEBO with the Wound Bed Preparation paradigm in the treatment of chronic refractory wounds, the protocol, respecting different stages and grades, defined a standardized, detailed, and specific treatment procedure with precautions for the application of MEBT/MEBO in treating diabetic wounds. Basic treatment and local treatment methods were not covered.
