【Abstract】 Objective To study the clinical efficacy of a multi?technique approach in treating acute cellulitis following abdominal tumor surgery. Methods 68 patients with acute cellulitis after abdominal tumor surgery admitted into The Sixth Hospital of Shanxi Medical University between June 2017 and May 2021 were treated with local debridement, dressing change with MEBO, incision anchoring and vacuum sealing drainage (VSD) on the basis of systemic treatments including controlling infection, correcting hypoproteinemia, anemia and electrolyte disturbance, etc. The wound healing condition was observed. Results Of the 68 patients, one died of the complication of pulmonary infection, one died of the complication of heart failure, and the other 66 patients all realized complete wound healing, and the wound healing time was 35 - 60 days. The follow-up of six months to one year after treatment found that the healed skin of the 66 patients didn’t develop skin ulceration or infection. Conclusion The combined application of debridement, MEBO, incision anchoring and vacuum sealing drainage in the treatment of acute cellulitis following abdominal tumor surgery can significantly promote wound healing, and the clinical efficacy is definite, deserving to be promoted in clinical practice.
