Specialized examination: The nail of the right index finger was lifted up, the nail bed was avulsed, bleeding, and there was a partial defect on the radial side. There was a partial defect of the soft tissue on the radial side of the pulp of the right index finger. The skin on the palmar and dorsal sides of the index finger was torn, and the movement of the finger was restricted. Diagnosis: Defect of the tip of the right index finger. Treatment: After nail extraction, debridement, palliative suture, and wet dressing change, the nail bed and the defective finger pulp regenerated in situ, and the shaping was good after a 3-month follow-up. |
